If you go ahead with a booking, we may ask for more information, but only what we genuinely need to arrange your travel services.
Curate Your Tour does not ask for passport scans, passport numbers or payment card numbers.

A trip enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to marketing messages. If we offer newsletters or promotional emails in future, we will handle your choices about them separately.
Information about other travellers
If you are the lead traveller, you may tell us about the people travelling with you, such as children's ages or room requirements.
Please check that they are comfortable with us receiving relevant details about them.
Dietary and accessibility information
Some details you choose to share can be more personal. Examples are dietary requirements, accessibility needs and mobility requirements.
Please share only what helps us plan your trip. You do not need to tell us about any diagnosis.
We use these details to understand what you need. Where necessary, we pass the relevant parts to the suppliers who provide your travel services. For example, we might tell a lodge that you need a room without stairs.
How Curate Your Tour saves progress
Curate Your Tour saves your progress in your browser, so you do not lose everything if you close the page and come back later. Some of it is kept for longer than the rest.
Saved on your device
Trip preferences
Destinations, dates, experiences, travel style, accommodation choices and budget range. These can still be there when you return in a new browser session.
Kept for this visit only
Personal details
Your name, email, phone number, country of residence, dietary information, accessibility information and personal notes. These are not restored in a new browser session.
Saved information is cleared once your enquiry is confirmed as sent. It is also cleared when you choose Start again.
Using a shared or public computer? Choose Start again when you finish. Clearing your browser data also removes saved progress.
How trip questions change
Curate Your Tour may show different questions depending on your earlier choices. If you choose adventure travel, activity questions may appear. If you choose conference travel, we may ask how much free time you will have.

International transfers
Maarjv works in international travel. Planning a trip may involve service providers in Uganda, Rwanda or other countries. Our technology providers may also process information in different countries.
When personal information has to be sent to another country, we take reasonable steps to handle it in line with the privacy requirements that apply.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as we reasonably need it for the purpose it was collected. That includes handling an enquiry, managing a booking, giving support, meeting legal or accounting requirements and resolving disputes.
Different types of information may be kept for different lengths of time. When we no longer reasonably need information, we delete it or make it anonymous where appropriate.
How we protect information
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information. Curate Your Tour includes safeguards such as:

Our trip planning service is for adults.
If you are planning a family trip, you may give us limited information about children, such as their ages. Some activities and accommodation have age requirements, so this helps us plan.
Please do not send us any other personal information about children at the enquiry stage. Curate Your Tour does not ask for children's passport details.

We may change this notice from time to time. When we do, we will publish the updated version on this page.
